  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I wonder if this is going to be a one time deal, make a certain amount of the blend then try something different? Or will this one be more of a series that sticks around a while? Seems like he's testing the waters with his new blends.

The website says that this blend will always be available, but the future blends will be limited. I have 4 tins on the way to me. They shipped yesterday. Ordered 3 more tins this morning. Just in case... LOL

I recently realized that this guy Russ was such a big deal in the pipe industry. I met him a couple times when I was in Albany at Habana (at their old location). He was simply working in the b&m and was a gentleman. Can anyone suggest a blend or two from him that they really enjoy? I've only dabbled in pipes, but cant seem to peel myself away from my cigars long enough.

In terms of cigars I usually smoke med or med-full stuff. Lately I've been on a CC kick (Bolivar & Ramon Allones mostly). NCs-Tatuaje, Caldwell and Fuente. I've smoked the Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured (which I heard can be similar to pipe tobacco) and tossed it after 10 mins. I'm not into anything that varies too far from the actual leaf in terms of flavor.
