  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hello all!

So, I have a bride flying us to san miguel de allende for a wedding, and we will be staying in a house we rented for about a week...I have done plenty of beach weddings in Mexico, but i have never been inland, so I was wondering if anyone had been there before, and if yall knew of anyplace I could pick up some smokes while I was there :grinFU: and even if there were any BOTL around there (although I doubt it, it does not seem to be a very large place)...

I was there 7 years ago. Back then i didn't know crap about cigars, sorry. But i will tell you this…

It is one heck of a beautiful place, it is full culture (at least back then i felt it like that), it's a tight place but i bet you will see a lot of beautiful things there.
Wow, a wedding there. Not a bad choice, i'll say that. Though… it's hot as hell there right now, i'm sure of that. Seven years ago i went around this time… i think it was in July and it was really hot.

Mmmmmm i think that's about it.
Lot of old buildings there! And you'll be bumping into a few 'gringos' around there, though, a lot are there because either they wanted to or because some decided to live there after the Vietnam 'incident'.

I was hoping you would find this thread :)

We are going to be there Thurs night through Wed...

Wedding is on Friday and Sat, so if it is better timing for you, sometime Sun-Tues would be when we could hang for an extended period...

Also, I know you have some problems getting certain sticks down there (from what you have mentioned?), so PLEASE let me know if there is anything you need that I can bring down...

It's not that i'm 3 hours away, it's more like because my grandma will be baby sitting my brother and I while my mom, dad and sister are away so that they can get my sister settled in in Santa Barbara
