  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I love Saturdays. I find myself smoking at least 2-3 cigars on Saturdays. I just had to share with anyone, my day -

8:00AM Wakeup

9:00AM Eat worlds best breakfast burrito

10:AM Smoke a PAM exclusivo, with a steamy hot Americano to drink

12:pM Drink two large Stella's

12:30PM Smoke Montecristo #2 isom

2:30PM Eat worlds best Mexican food for lunch

4PM Lay in bed and listen to Sublime

6PM "Quiet time" with the lady friend

8PM Sushi dinner at Koi with one of my best friends, my brother

11:24PM Now, back porch - smoking Padron #2000 Maduro, listening to Led Zepplin - Achilles Last Stand

This is my every Saturday ritual.

Life couldn't get better.

Anyone else have their own prime-cigar-incorporated feast-of-a-day?

I have just started smoking cigars, so no incorporation into my day yet.

I am jealous...I haven't smoked regularly since August and have been lucky to get one a month in since then. It's too damn cold here to enjoy a smoke and I won't smoke in my house or truck so my options are very limited.

It's starting to warm up though, I am guessing I am about a month away from regular smoking again. :applause:

It's stories like that that remind me of my bachelor days! My day today will be something like this.

6AM Wake up and check BOTL and a few other boards.

7AM Get interupted writing this reply by my kids.

7:15 Make breakfast for kids

7:30 Start waking up my wife

7:45 Unload dishwasher

7:55 Make another attempt to wake my wife.

8:00 Make sure the kids brush their hair and teeth, get dressed and find their books for religious instruction.

8:15 Feed and water the dog.

8:20 Make another attempt to wake my wife.

8:25 Brush teeth and get dressed.

8:30 Take the kids to religious instruction

8:50 Come back home and make another attempt to wake my wife. She's a tough nut to crack on Sundays.

9:00 Take the dog for a walk.

9:30 Check to see if my wife still has a pulse.

9:35 pick up the kids.

10:00 Go food shopping

11:00 Come back and put the food away.

11:05 Make sure the wife is still breathing.

11:10 Make a pot of coffee (Black Dog of course)

11:30 Give the kids ideas when they come to me and say, "I'm bored, what should I do?"

11:45 Throw a party when my wife wakes up!!! Coffee always brings her down the stairs.

12:00 Make brunch. Since it's my wife's birthday, I'm making Mickey Mouse waffles (yes, we have a mickey mouse waffle machine!)

12:30 Check the cigar boards quickly.

1:00 Go outside and get some of the ice and water off of the pool cover. I'm thinking I might actually get to have a cigar at this point!!!!!!

3:00 Go though the kids school bags and make sure they are ready for school tomorrow. Sunday afternoon is pencil sharpening time, boy we know how to party down at Casa de Tuba!!

3:30 Check the cigar boards quickly.

4:00 Make a meatloaf for dinner. My kids are weird and actually like my meatloaf.

6:30 Clean up after dinner while Mrs. Tuba takes the kids upstairs and gets them all cleaned up for bed.

7:00 Check the cigar boards quickly.

8:00 Reading time with the kids, my favorite part of the day!

8:30 Kids in bed. (Yes, my kids really do go to bed that early. I'm a big believer in kids needing adequate rest.)

8:45 Finally, I sit down and re watch LOST to look for hidden clues.

My Saturday was finally relaxing after I finished teaching for the day. Why did I agree to teach on Saturdays when I'm already doing it for 5 days of the week?

Cracking me up. I read a story where folks are giving up the game of golf due to lack of time. Same cannot be said for cigar smokers.
