Has anyone else tried these? I tried one last night and for some reason it didn't quite click with me. Maybe it felt a little too strong in my opinion which I regret since I like maduros and the regular Serie V is a favorite of mine.

On the bright side I'm thankful that my local B&M gave me a free autographed Joya de Nicaragua cap. Speaking of of the JdN, I'm also a fan of that brand as well which still confuses me as to why the Serie V maduro didn't do anything for me.

I have not yet seen the V. But, like you, I have very high hopes for it as I am aslo a big V fan.

I am also a fan of Joya Antonio's, and my local B&M is hosting Dr. Matinez of Joyo cigars. I am really looking forward to that.

Do we now have TOO much in common?

Anyway, I would buy a few of those V's becasue they may settle better with you after time in your humidor, or just after a little age.

An obvious thought, but I wanted to chip in.

I have had two now. I think they are excellent. But I love full bodied, spicy cigars. It lacks the refinement of the V, but I prefer it a bit rough. We should just be glad to try one, I think these are going to be hard to come by.
