I like ING a lot, so I'm sure it wil be good stuff. It would seem that you would want to know exactly what you wanted and not try to go at it blind, but if they can remove the big broker fee, then I'm all for it.

Yea, I really like their savings account. The only drawback is the 2-3 day processing time for transferring money.

I opened up an account on sharebuilder 2 months ago.
So far so good, easy to use.
I would supplement their research with other sources though before commiting to trades.

Best to paper trade awhile before you actually commit real money. Also, just because a broker is big doesn't mean there will be more value added for the little investor. There is plenty of free info out there on the web for investors to use.

I have had a sharebuilder account now for about 2 1/2 years now. Easy to use, helps you get started buying shares at pace that you can afford. Be careful on how you are going to invest, even with your low weekly, monthly, or how frequently you decide to invest, this is a long term decision. It can be tempting to withdraw you money with the market swings.

Wish you the best of luck if you decide to open an account.
