Moving is on. The movers come on Monday. And then I'm out of here on the 14th. But I have a question...

I have a guy in Seattle willing to store my stuff until I get down. He has a walk in. But I'm wondering, should I send it all in one large cooler or break it down into smaller boxes. Both have pros and cons...

Cooler:
Good - Very sturdy and better able to hold some humidity
Bad - All my eggs are in one basket

Boxes:
Good - Split up the boxes and minimize the (small) chance of having them go missing
Bad - Not as sturdy and prone to some humidity loss. Probably more expensive too.

What would you do?

How'd you get them up there in the first place? The customs in Alaska a little more loose than the continental US?

Shipped out boxes today. I decided to split them up to take the danger out of losing one large cooler rather than several medium boxes.

Alaska customs probably isn't, I've just been lucky. If I was only driving from two places in the Continental US, I would have taken them with me.
