  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What a Stick!

I stepped on the foot last night by accident and tore
the wrapper. I decided to smoke it anyway. This cigar
has a beautiful Colorado wrapper with very minimal veins.
It has a very long pigtail so it's aptly named the "Firecracker".

What a "Firecracker" it is! This thing starts with a blast
of pepper that will literally burn the hairs of your nose
if you dare to 'retrohale'! I knew better from the other
reviews but it almost singed the tip of my tongue anyway.

This is a very woodsy, cedar cigar that meshes well with
the pepper flavor profile. A couple more puffs and the
effects of the concentrated nicotine begins to kick in.
I was about halfway done when I started feeling a little
light headed. Even though the wrapper was torn, it still
managed to hold a firm grey ash, and burned as uniform as
it could without the wrapper being intact.

This is definitely a nicaraguan puro! I got up and did something and it went out at the nub! I tried to relight
it, burned my finger a little and decided that i'd had enough! I really enjoyed this one. I'll let the rest sit for a few weeks before i try another.

Dude, that sucks, that is the thing about wrappers, once they split like that they are hard to smoke and you lose what the cigar was intended to be.
