  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wouldn't you like to know?
Only one torch you'll ever need or want if you're willing to spend the money. S.T Dupont Mini Jet. Lasts for a lifetime and will light in a hurricane. Retails about $125 but then you only live once....
There is no way a minijet is the only lighter you will ever need. When I go to Cuba it is tough to find butane so I like to take one with a massive tank if possible. And while there I smoke a lot 10 a day ish and I am a bit of a pain when it comes to lighting. I refuse to draw while using a lighter. So the toast till going technique takes a lot of fuel and many lighters will not live up to 10 a data never mind making it through a few days. While a minijet will be my showy lighter in Cuba it will not be my only one. I would guess many others are in that same place too. Maybe not with Cuba but other factors that a mini jet may not be able to handle. Figure out what you need and go from there.

St Dupont Xtend.. When I'm at home or at the B&M.. The tank on the Xtend is huge and last forever..

When I travel I take a ronson jet light.. for 2 reasons..
1. If I loose it no big deal.. Ocean ate the last one.. haha
2. Taking it on the plane.. if its confiscated from my checked luggage.. not big deal.. its a $3 lighter..

Things that I hate about a JetLight.. The Lid.. It gets in the way while lightning a stick!
Other than the lid issue, its a good lighter..

They are usually only on the cigarette checkout lane. They are small and grey with vertical lines on them now. I have not found them at every Wal Mart, but keep looking. Good luck.
