Relocated from NC to MI this Summer. Decided to finally roast some beans again. Pulled out the popper...5 minutes...10 minutes...15 minutes...not doing anything. Put that newer popper aside and dug through some boxes to find the old popper. The last time I used it I left it in the rain. Plug it up beans are almost a perfect medium roast. There is a smoke alarm in the garage...it goes off...move the beans outside quickly and ruin the batch or take the next 30 seconds and take the risk of waking the family...stick with the beans...perfect beans and the family didn't hear the alarm in the garage. Moved outside and roasted 6 more batches. Not sure how that is going to work through the winter.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
