Started off with a 01 VR farm robusto on Friday that was very smooth and had a unique flavor profile. Saturday night during the game I burnt down a 98 Partagas Lusi from one of 2 cabs that I have. The cigars in both cabs are nice but I found that the cab with the more toothy wrappers burn better and seem to be more dimensional than the other cab. Today I woke up made myself a cappuccino and smoked and 05 RYJ Ceetros Deluxe #2 that was almost as creamy as the Kona Cap that I was drinking. Just now after reading Kaz52's thread on the selection boxes being over powering in terms of their cedar flavor I decided to pull ot an 01 Ryj Ex#4 robusto that I had placed 5 of inside of one of my empty Sel Robusto boxes about a year ago and it was sooo good. I like the taste of cedar in my cigars and this reminded me alot of the ryj cyd#2 from the morning, but the larger rg produced a more refined/balanced taste than the smaller pc rg. Maybe due to the fact that the RYJ ex#4's were only in the sel box for a year did not lead to the over powering of the cigar from the cedar? All I know is that I don't usually find myself nubbing cigars, mostly smoke down to the band or a little further, and this weekend I musta burnt my fingers on each cigar.
