  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've was planing to an brew and English Strong Ale this weekend, I had everthing ready so when work closed I decided today would be a good day to brew.

Brew consisted of

6 lbs Gold Malt Syrup
1 lbs Light DME
1 lbs Corn Sugar
1/2 lb Dark Crystal Malt
1/4 lb Medium Cyrstal Malt
1/4 lb Chocolate Malt
1/2 oz Summit Hops 60 min
1 oz East Kent Goldings 60 min
1 oz East Kent Goldings 20 min
1 oz Slyrian Goldings at the end of the boil
Irish Moss at 15 min

2 packs of Notingham Ale yeast and yeast nutrient

OG came out to 1.070, should ferment down to 1.010 or even a little lower.

Can't wait a couple pints of this would go down great on a snowy day like today.
