Central Waters Brewing Company (Amherst, Wisconsin) has started construction on their new barrel house expansion. When done, the brewery will age twice the current amount of beer. Barrel aged beers in the lineup include Bourbon Barrel Stout, Bourbon Barrel Barleywine, and Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout.
One of, if not the best small breweries in WI. In January, they have their anniversary party and allow Beer Advocate to occupy a room. To get in, you have to bring at least above average beers to share with everybody in the room. Three years ago, somebody brought in a bottle of Sam Adams Utopia to share. It reminds me of the the leaf brotherhood.
