SPC Blends gone?

In September I noticed a surge of new blends from the Seattle Pipe Club (due to the new FDA regulations I'm guessing) but they seem to have since dis-appeared from the market entirely. Does anyone know what happened?

Here's the official scoop from an SPC member here in Washington:

"If you mean the non-Joe Lankford blends then I will say that it is uncertain if and when they will be released. They were created solely in response to the FDA regulations. We'll have to see

Pretty sure they just released them to beat that FDA deadline. Now they'll probably work on the blends to perfect them before putting them back out into the marketplace.

Pretty smart move actually.

The new blends with the exception of Rainier Levant were not blended by Joe Lankford. I'm wondering if Joe will be asked to re-blend the FDA rushed blends. Even if he doesn't - the SPC blends that we currently have are fantastic.
