guys, i want to replace my f150 speakers, i m going to be getting a 4 channel amp as well. need reccomendations on some good solid speakers, i like mostly rock/alternative but every now and then ill throw some old hip hop on so i do want the speakers a little bassy. i have a f150 ford 2010 fx4 supercrew.

I haven't been in the car audio scene for years, but Boston Acoustics and Polk Audio were pretty damn good then, and for not too much cash.

Also...this should be right up Tom's alley, though he hasn't been around much lately..paging, caudio51....paging, caudio51...

I have all Alpine Type-R in my Dodge. They are on a 5channel amp and really scream. You pretty much get what you pay for with speakers. I myself wouldn't pay over $200 for a pair of speakers.
