ST Dupont Minijet: Should I or Shouldn't I

I have read a number of reviews on this lighter to include the posts here on the lighter and I am still in a quandary. While I know that for the money, there are lighters of a lesser name that are as good or better I want to hear from those of you who have one of these on your thoughts?

What other lighters did you consider?

Why Minijet?

Did you pay MSRP?

What has been your experience with the lighter?

Would you buy again?

1. For some reason I have a ton of lighters
2. It's my Vegas lighter. Easily fits in my pocket and wife will not hold a lighter for me in her purse
3. He'll no. Picked it up for $59 on a daily deal
4. Perfect lighter, zero complaints
5. Yup, got a second one the next time that daily deal showed up. If it ever shows up again I'll buy another. I have a red and black

I wish I could find a deal like that, I'd be all over it. I am looking at one on FleaBay but it scares me because the seller is in Quebec and the condition says new, unopened box while he states it was opened and never used. I think I am going to sit on the sidelines until a daily deal shows up.

Have a dupont Minijet with the Liga Privada on it. Works great. $200 from Drew Estate. Have many other lighters. For single jet the Blazer is great value. For triple jets there are plenty. Depends how many jets you want.

Bought a Minijet after returning from the Big Smoke last November. I like to carry a lighter (& small cutter), but nothing too heavy, as it tends to weigh down my slacks. If my memory serves me correctly, I bought a “Black as Night” Minijet off Amazon for about $90.

I’m very satisfied with it, as it is very lightweight, carries enough fuel for a weekend, and has a nice flame for lighting a cigar.
