I got an old pipe recently and the stem seems to be stuck in the pipe. I tried turning it - there's some give, but it's still pretty tight, so I stopped as I don't want to snap the tenon off.
I was thinking if dipping the whole thing in warm soapy water as the stem needs cleaning anyhow. After that, I will be grateful for any advice on how to remove the stem without risking the tenon snap-off or damaging the briar.
