Vix at 18 month low and the market being overbought....good chance for more downside action....imho

Who knows. The market has gone contrary to much conventional wisdom this year. Dubai possibly has a white knight coming to the rescue ... and their debt issues caused Friday's fall. If retail sales over the 3 day weekend look good, we might get a positive spike.

I'm going with the red for retails sales overall this xmas. Many big retailers couldnt get enough credit to really carry the stock they need for big sales and many people are still not purchising simply because the days of getting credit limits for everything are gone.

It's been due for a correction over the past month.
Good retail sales and it'll pop in those sectors. But overall market health depends on Dubai, IMO.
