  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just wondering what everyone is having with the Super Bowl, today!

Nothing special at all, here.......just going to cut up some various Italian meats, aged sharp cheddar, raspberry bellavitano and blue cheese. Pairing that up with some rice crackers and Triscuits (Rosemary and Olive Oil FTW).

My wife is going to be EXTREMELY hungover today, so nothing too extravagent will be necessary. A pretzel or two would probably do :smokingbo

What about you guys? Take pix!

I'm thinking just brats and some beer. cheese and crackers sound good too. Or maybe I'll make some hummus. It's just me and the wife, so we're not going all out.

Just put some ribs on. Sausages later.
My wife is making some shrimp, veggie tray and other snacks in the meantime.

Pizza for main food. Might throw together some little stuff like dips and chips and such. Gonna have a few people over.

And probably a beer or two. Ok, maybe three...

Nothing too fancy, last night. Was my wife, 3 year old son, and me. She made up some nachos, with refried beans, cheese, taco meat, etc etc. in a pan, heated in the oven. I made a couple new things to me. I made Buffalo chicken wontons. You heat up butter and hot sauce (just like you would for wings), and let it cool down til the butter makes it really thick. Then, shred some chicken into it. Spoon some of that onto a wonton, and a dab of cream cheese. Then, fold and seal the wontons and a quick swim in hot oil. And also made falafel for the first time. Really yummy. We just made them into patties, fried them a little to brown/crip, and served with a homemade tzatziki sauce and diced roma tomatoes. Very tasty!!

Nothing fancy, just junk food. Nachos, and chips w/ spinach dip. Crackers w/ summer sausage and colby-jack cheese. Cheese puffs, cookies, soda and punch.
