  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My local grocery store makes fresh sushi all day. They have a sweet brown rice rolls that I am loving.
They even make a square sushi "roll". They put spicy tuna so it is like a spicy tuna sandwich I love them!

We have a fantastic buffet here that has all you can eat sushi. I swear I eat myself sick every time I go. I can't stop going back for more. It isn't the best sushi I have ever had but it is excellent.

I can't afford to take the family to our favorite, Mr. Sushi, because my kids love it too and it costs a fortune. That is reserved for the wife and I. Next time I go to the buffet place I will try to remember to take a pic.

anyone ever play this expectation-dissapointment game:
"you have fatty tuna today? please?"
"ni, i'm sorry."
"ohhh. i'm sad now."

when they DO, it's all on! when they DON"T, i'm sad while everyone else orders, then make up for it on everything else! o)

I love uni as well! Best uni I've ever had was @ Phil Yee's place in Culver City, CA. I went in there and it wasn't crowded and had him just feed me and use his imagination, it was just fantastic!

We have places out here that will cost you $150 per person easy. Most of that stuff is still moving when it is in on you plate in front of you. Or if you get on the Toro at $15 per piece it starts to add up quick. Once you had that high quality sushi you will never go to a sushi buffet again. Unfortunately, like with all the finer things (cigars, booze, etc) you can become a sushi snob.

Just tried a new place in town that was excellent. They do have an all you can eat section; anything on the menu $28.50. Wish I was younger.
