  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A friend of mine always says that the kindest thing to your money is time. Well, the same can be said of this cigar!

As I went to the humi I was think Tat for sure but which one. Having time on my hands and some reading to do I chose between a 233 and this stick.

I can say without reservation, this was the absolute best Tatuaje experience I have ever had. An investment of 2.5 God blessed hours.

The wrapper was smooth and the pre light draw was filled with molasses. It sparked with no problem and the flavors were cinnamon and pepper right from the start.

I closed my eyes and swore I was enjoying a Noella then a Unicos and then a Cohete all rolled into one.

The complexity of this stick was so enjoyable that I thought I was in cigar heaven.

Not a burn problem to mention. No touch ups or anything. Once past the bulbous point it took on the flavors of nutmeg and honey. This continued for over an hour all the while maintaining peppery intonations.

At the 2/3 mark the power kicked in and I had a nicotine buzz which required a Coke. The pepper picked up in intensity till the nub and I wanted to cry when I got to the end.

So for now I'll cherish this moment until I can lay hold of a Barclay Rex. All the while knowing that even if I never do, this was the best Tat I have had the pleasure of beholding!

Nice review! I've had 2 of the smaller RCs ... maybe the 184? Anyway, these are AWESOME cigars, I totally agree!

Because I so seldom have the time to enjoy a really big cigar, when I do it's got to be something special. These definately fall into that category ... mmmm good!

Yep. Gotta love them for sure. I've never had the 233, but damn that 184 takes a while to enjoy. Couldn't imagine the 233.
