Got this beautiful cigar of a surprise sampler from Tim @burningleaf.
First of all I love the vitola 43*6 3/8 and even though it has some wrapper issues it's a beautiful cigar!
This one feels as it has some age to it when I take my first few draws and I get a strong tobacco taste along with powerful leather and some spice.
After the first third earthiness and nutterly flavors start to develop and I'm loving it! During the smoke these flavors grow in strength and the initial pepper fade away.
In the last third an oaky woodenness appears and blends perfectly with all the other flavors.
This cigar show way more complexity than what you usually find in NCs and I'm surprised that this haven't gotten more attention on forums and blogs. My only problem with this cigar is that it totally distracted me from my studies and got me to write my first review here
Hopefully my box of tat 7th reserva will evolve to be equally good!
