I am home today preping for "Fleet Week" as one of my buddies called it. Nothing but clear liquids and this gawdawful concoction named Golytely!
Well, to take the edge off with my White Grape Juice this morning I enjoyed a Tatuaje Cohete.
I used the Tatuaje Cutter and took off just the right amount of cap and the pre-light draw was nice and spicy. A firm stick with no soft spots and the wrapper was w/o blemish.
A gentle toasting of the foot and w/i mere seconds, I was enjoying mouthfuls of thick, chewy smoke. In that it is a relatively short stick, the flavor of cocoa and earth were present.
The second third was chocked full of raisins and spice and I was absolutely loving it. When I retrohaled, the cocoa was more pronounced. I had to remind myself to slow down as this was so tasty I was going after it like a ravenous dog.
Saving the best for last is how I describe the last third. Cocoa and spice remained predominate and the smoke was copiuos. I had to touch it up a couple of times as the burn got really lopsided.
I smoked this well past the nub before letting it extinguish itself in my 'gar bucket'. I only wished that I had bought a box (instead of a 5er) these sticks are simply the best.
Well, being that I am calling this day a 'Tat-for-Tat' Day, I will be enjoying a Tat Black over lunch (Pear Juice) and if the concoction permits, I will finish the day off with a Regios. I will save the Frank (my last remaining stick) for tomorrow as they say I cannot drive for 12 hours following my little "procedure".
