This cigar is wrapped in a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper that is a nicely colored dark Chocolate Brown. This cigar looks a bit rustic but feels well packed. The binder and filler are both Nicaraguan. The foot has a light scent of damp earth, hay and a touch of cedar.

The pre-light draw revealed very light flavors of what the foot pre-light scent reveal...damp earth hay and cedar. The light was good and the draw was open. Initial impressions were of cedar and just a touch of pepper. The smoke volume was good but a bit wispy for my tastes. A bit of sweetness was apparent in the background during the first third of the cigar. Some slight burn issues developed about half way through the first third. I corrected for the first time of several corrections during the smoke.

The second third and final third was just more of the same. I was really surprised that the cigar had almost no complexity. The strength and body never progressed beyond medium at any time during the entire smoke. The initial bit of pepper and spice disappeared during the second third and never came back. The sweetness was evident way in the background pretty much the entire time. There were many burn issues with this stick that required far too many corrections for my liking.

The price of this cigar was around $13. I was very disappointed in this smoke due to lack of complexity and the burn issues. I was bored after about 1/2 the smoke. It was also the lightest body and strength Tatuaje that I have ever smoked. This particular smoke does not represent the line very well for my tastes. Give me a Noella or Noella Reserve and I am happy. This stick didn't make me happy.
