  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Its not that is was just a little harder to draw. I stuck with it for about and inch and a half and my jaw was dying. Like drawing through a pine stick. i was really looking forward to this smoke too. I like the smaller RG i will be giving this another try because what smoke i did get was very good

Never had a problem with a Tat VI, but I don't smoke narrow ring gauge cigars. They are notoriously hard to roll and the good ones usually feel under-filled to the touch in order to avoid the kind of draw problems you experienced. Try another one or two. If they're all too tight, try an Oliva Series V Lancero. Or a Tat VI in a bigger gauge. :rolling:

i've had several tight draws on the angeles before. In fact, most of them have been tight. Not tight to the point of being painful or unsmokeable (i've had that before in other sticks, so i know) but tighter than i would like.

I've not experienced that in any of the other tat red sticks or any of the verocus.

I will agree that the Oliva V lanceros are unbelievably easy to draw. They almost feel way over humidified when queezing one...very mushy, but they smoke just fine. pretty tasty too.

Apparently they were having a problem at the factory with putting too much filler into the cigar right around the band. This causes some to draw too tight and some to explode. The issue should be resolved by now, so there shouldn't be any more bad cigars.

I have had a few. The last one I had was too tight and it made the smoke miserable. I love the Havanna VI line in every size.
