  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So, I live in Texas, and since it’s right smack dab in the middle of the United States you’d think we would get both East coast and West coast blends of this cigar, but apparently, we are considered West coast, so that’s what I have to settle for until I can get someone to send me the East coast blend of this cigar. This cigar had a beautiful dark wrapper, which was contrasted beautifully by the dual red bands on this cigar. The ash was light grey and flakey, but not very sturdy as small portions of it kept ending up on the floor. The draw was perfect and the smoke profile was supurb, causing an immediate salivary reaction as it thickly coated the contours of my palate. The smoke burned a little uneven, but nothing that made me whine much. I was expecting something strong, but it hit me with a very mellow medium bodied smoke. It had a nutty core with hints of coffee and added a mild spice in the final third. I smoked this bad boy all the way to the nub, and enjoyed every minute of it. These cigars are definitely ready to smoke now, so I’m interested in seeing how they age. I can’t wait to try the East Coast.:smokingbo
