Went by my local B&M today to pick up a few Tatuaje Anarchy's and a box of EP Carrillo Short Run's before the remaining 2010 release is gone... Decided to pick up one of the new Tat P's to try. Grabbed a Frapachino from the Starbucks next door and joined a couple of fellows and lit up!
I was not expecting much, truthfully I was expecting to toss it as I did not like the original release.. I'm just getting over a chest cold so my taste buds are off, but this was a pretty good cigar! The new P has a Sumatra wrapper and I have to say it reminded me of a milder AM Sumatra... definitely on the medium side, burned well especially for a non full leaf filler.. I bought a second one to retry in a few days when my taste buds are back to normal, but if the experience is repeated it's a definite box purchase cigar... Since these can be had for $2.50 for the rebusto and $3 for the Toro they will make a GREAT every day smoke and a very good smoke to hand out to my friends that really don't appreciate a more expensive blend...
Again, I gotta say I was VERY pleasantly surprised! If you were not a fan of the original release (like me) it's definitely worth a try....
