  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ok, stopped off at the local smoke shop to find a little something different and this is one that I picked up. I have smoked the white label which was ok but I didn't get the hype. This puppy cost me about $7 and was a bit of a surprise. The wrapper was a little veiny but upon cutting the end with my wedge I took a dry draw...not bad...not too much O2 flowing through it and not too little...rolled nice say 8 of 10. I commense to light and i get the ting of peppery spice at the head that goes mid way through (working on the nub as we speak). The weird thing is it gets milder as I near the end...still nice. I didn't check the size (mid) but it wasn't long enough. Burned fairly even but but began to waiver to one side at the nub. Overall a 7 of 10 and I think I am picky. I would buy another. It complements a nice silver Patron or Hacienda Tequila I think. Enjoy.

the browns are definitely my fave. the SWs are my current choice. but the J21s, the especiales, the noellas, the noella reserve, the cojonus and the petites are a close 2nd.

There is no hype with the white label that I ever heard. They are 60% long and 40% short filler. These are pretty good for about 3 bucks. The reds are yummy and pack a nice spict punch.

i read the OP as saying there was hype with the white label as well. never had one, but as long as i have reds and browns, and now the ambos mundos, i don't see the point.

The Reds are my fav, although I enjoy the browns very much!! I also was not very impressed with the whites but have to remember they are a sandwich cigar.
