  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey guys,

I am smoking the Tatuaje TAA right now and wanted to post a live review:

Initial light : pepper, spice, coffee, and chocolate with some light wood tones.

I will update as it burns.

I can see where the flavor comparison is similar to the tenderloin. Real similar
Aroma from resting smoke. The taste however is a little muted. Right now it tastes like a mix between a Padilla 1932 and a Tenderloin.

More to follow...

About half way through.... Dusty sweet chocolate, cedar, and a hint of a dry leather finish (albeit short finish). I have a feeling these will age really really well.

Towards the end here. Pretty decent stick; I think these need some down time though to reach their full potential.

This is crazy, but the flavor I have on the finish at the end is like olvaltine chocolate powder. Weird I know, but that is exactly what it tastes like. Good stick!

Thanks again guys!

Thanks for the review. Ovaltine powder? Maybe you should pair it with a glass of milk.:barf: All kidding aside, I'm anxious to give them a try.

Great review :) What would you rate it, number wise?

Thanks!
89 points on a 100 point scale. Good stick, but I have been really stuck on EP Carrillo's stuff lately. His Maddie core line may be one of my favorite Maduros ever. I have always been a tat whore but lately I find myself board with some of these new releases; especially compared to Ernie's stuff (Elencos, core line Maddie, and new wave).
