Yes, they are available. I recently had a couple of Te Amo Cuban Blend Nubs that I bought at a cigar parlor in St Paul, Minnesota. I think they are quite good and have a flavor that is rather distinctive. (I can also imagine that the taste will not appeal to everyone, as it is a bit different. For me, I can see this as a change-of-pace cigar. I will definitely smoke them again.)
(correction: I guess "Nub" is a brand name. Te Amo calls this shape 'corta gorda')
