Technical Question....

I've noticed that several of you are able to place the pictures into the actual "body" of the review, then some (like myself) only add attachments....

I'm not exactly computer illiterate, but can someone help me out with how to do this correctly? :scratchhe

If inserting an image from a website... simply copy the link > click insert image > and paste the link.

If inserting an image from your computer... upload the picture to your photo album on your profile > copy that link > click insert image > and paste the link. The images must be less than 600 x 600 pixels so I usually have to edit them before uploading.

There may be a simpler way but that's what I do.

I upload my pictures into my photo albums (which you can find on your "User CP" page). When I post, I simply go to the picture I want and at the bottom of the the page there are two codes: the URL and one that says "BB Code." Just copy the latter and paste it into the area of the post you want and that'll embed the pic into the body without creating an attachment. I had a problem with this first I tried posting pics as well.

Most people use a photo service like photobucket.com and link the images from there using the direct link from photobucket and the insert image tag here at botl.

When I put them up on photobucket, I literally just copy and paste the last option for a URL. It's already pre-set for forum entry!
