I came across a heck of a steal on 2 interesting pipes at one of the antique shops over the weekend! The nomenclature is pretty well gone, one is possibly a "Practus" and the other just barely has a script "T" visible. Anyway, that's not the point. The reason they were a buck a pop is that both pipes are broke right at the tenon. Can anyone recommend a good source and material to replace what I have. I haven't broke out the calipers yet to confirm size, but they look "normal". Delrin seems to be a common option, but if there's something else I'm all ears. While I certainly don't mind getting more than two pipe tenons worth of material, I also have no plans to open a pipe repair shop any time soon.
Thanks for any suggestions!
