Tequila lover but short on cash?

I love tequila...but was kinda short of cash...so looked to try "budget" tequilas and found this one. I say "found" cuz it isn't sold back in my home country. But it was a delightful experience.

I'm gonna have to look for that one. There are many budget friendly tequilas out there, sounds like a good adventure.

I went on the same search a few years ago. I did a bunch of reading and a bunch of asking and ended up in the same place. I prefer blanco to anything barrel aged so have been buying the white version of Altos for a while now. Good stuff for sure and a great value.

Ah yeah same issue here ... when I head down to SC I grab sams club tequila

From what I understand, their store brand has some pretty solid bourbon, scotch and beer also.

Picked some up on the way home and paired it with a Carlos Toraño Exodus. They pair quite nicely, and the tequila is surprisingly tasty for the price point. Great catch!

Altos is great. I always suggest people try Cuervo Tradicional - I think it’s hard to beat for the price.

Agreed, the JCT is my go to budget, and I never get tired of the looks when it gets pulled out of the cabinet.

I'll have to hunt for some Altos this weekend.
