"According to the Dallas Police Department incident report, Owens told police he took more than 30 pills in a suicide attempt. A news conference is scheduled for later today during "working hours."

Damn, I wish I had a couple million a year to help me through my depression, I go on a cox of Cohiba bombing run and send a box of CoRos to every mail box near you ;-) I heard this on the radio this morning on the way home from PT...I hope that he is able to work through his demons, brutal though they may be....Suicide should never be the only option, for anyone, though, God knows I know, it can seem that way.

Some trivia here, the radio jock also said something about another famous/popular NFL start in the last decade that attempted suicide and the publicists were able to play it off as something else, so it wasn't widely known to the public. I wracked my brain all the way from post and couldn't figure out who the heck the were talking about, anybody out there know? The wife just said it was Daryl Johnston, during the time he was down with his back injury...That sound right?

The Dallas news media here is going CRAZY with this story...on the all-sports radio station I listen to, this is the ONLY topic they're discussing.

The answer is Deon Sanders... he tried to run his car off the rd and kill himself but he failed...
