Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
VuvuzelaOr whatever they're called. Make it stop!! :bigeyes: Even when I change the channel I still hear them :cryloud:
Well, if the players can´t hear the Ref´s whistle... That ain´t good. Plus, i really prefer hearing the chants over the constant buzzing noise...Agreed, they are annoying... but so are whistles and cow bells. You get used to it.. just like sneaker squeaks in basketball!!! Congrats Ghana.. and thanks again Robert Green!!!!
:applause::applause::applause:Germany is going to destroy Australia today at 3pm
:smile::smile::applause::applause::applause:
YES, we will!:grin:
Good luckNeill described todays match against Germany as the toughest Australia have ever had at a World Cup but is also well aware of the possibility of facing England, with the runners up and winners of their respective groups to play each other in the last 16.
Is there ever a good time to play Germany? I dont think so, said Neill.
for sure. no reason to take them away. Kind of like cowbells on the bob sled runs.Love the Vuvuzela. Its the sounds of the game. Like Larry said, its only a month.
Two nill already!:smile::smile:
Good luck
I get what you're saying but I hear them in games where no African team is even playing :scratchhe That'd be like me ringing a cowbell at a LSU vs. Alabama game. Makes no sense.Agreed, they are annoying... but so are whistles and cow bells. You get used to it.. just like sneaker squeaks in basketball!!! Congrats Ghana.. and thanks again Robert Green!!!!
I too get what you're saying, but every game will have horns. They aren't reserved only for African teams. It's the world cup, the host country is South Africa, and the stadiums are over flowing with vuvuzelas! There are always some type of noise makers... none this bad imo. I enjoy drums, REAL horns, and some good chants. But it's all about the game! Just put the TV on mute and blast your Lion King sound track.I get what you're saying but I hear them in games where no African team is even playing :scratchhe That'd be like me ringing a cowbell at a LSU vs. Alabama game.
