Where havs this band been my whole life? I just recently discovered The Avett Brother and now its been on my playlist on repeat for a week! Any Avett Brother fans have suggestions for bands that are similar?

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'm going to check them out. Never thought I could get into folk music but its pretty badass.
I saw The Avett Brothers live a few weeks ago for the first time. Without exageration, they put on the best live performance I've ever seen. Just the sheer energy that they play with is incredible. I never thought that I would enjoy a cello solo so much, but the cello player was jammin'! There were a couple times that the banjo playing put me over the edge and I had to laugh out loud because it was so awesome! Great band, might want to check out Kalai, Joshua James and The Black Keys.

Oh yes I am a huge black keys fan the sucky thing is I started listen to the avett brothers fell in love and the played a show here in NC like 2 days prior super crappy timing on my part.
