I think the writer just came back from Europe.
No mention of any new cigar bars in Australia, but there are a couple. Baranows in Melbourne and Cohibar in Sydney. I think there's something in the Hilton Hotel in Sydney City, but I haven't been there.

I haven't been to any of them, but I hear Baranows is great and host herfs all the time, but Cohibar has very rude staff if you question anything (like the quality of the drink you ordered or if you ask to turn down the music a little).
