The return of La Escepción

I noticed that La Escepción is returning with the 2011 RE's

I wonder if this is in response to General's La Escepción release last year (and the Cohiba battle)?

This is great news, but don't expect the same cigars as made in the 1980s. Completely different tobacco varieties are grown now. Let's just hope they give it the strength & body of the old ones. Very excited about this one.

What type of flavor profile does this brand have? Can you compare to anything in current production?

I've only smoked a couple Longos. Strong & earthy.
