  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

That's also my worst cigar to date! but mine was the corona. So horrible. I tossed it after an inch ... life's too precious to smoke something that makes you want to drink Drano, these aren't vitamins after all!

Pretty hardcore to smoke the whole thing. I am a bit reluctant to throw one, but have had a few that were just soo bad I had too.

diamond crown...i think it was a #4? Horrifying. It oozed disgusting foul tar within minutes of being lit. I was expecting a great smoke too.

I have never had a gran habano I liked, so any of them that I have tried. I have had others in a series I couldn't finish but not a whole line!

+2 Oliveros (International, I think it was called) was one of the worst cigars I've ever had. I'm pretty tolerant of mediocre cigars, especially if fishing or working in yard. But this is one of only about a half-dozen cigars I've been unable to get half-way through.
Oliveros Classic is right down there with it. They have a couple different XL blends that are serviceable yard gars, but I would not recommend the brand to anyone.

My worst was an El Mejor Emerald in a sampler from CI. This thing was just horrible. It was like inhaling deeply over a burn barrel. I tossed it after an inch.

Swisher Sweet! Somebody lit one up a few weeks ago and I should have known better but asked for one and after one puff threw it away.

which oliveros was it?

I have had 4 of the oliveros family.

Classic - sucked big time
Padrino - terrible
XL bold - I liked it!
King Havano - PRett ydecent full bodied smoke

For me (at least) I have enjoyed half the Oliveros I have smoked.

I had the Gran Habano Vintage 02 gifted from Jenady the other day which I thought was pretty good, especially for a reasonably priced cigar. Have you had these yet? Then again who am I talking too, you've probably tried everything. Goes to show how everyone's taste buds are different

The worst for me was the Macanudo Cafe (Green label). I could hardly stomach it and had to put it out after about a quarter into it, which is hard because I will generally finish a cigar and attempt to find something good in it. A close second is the Acid Earthiness. The combination of aromatic smoke, herbal taste in my mouth, and the herbal sweetness of the wrapper made me almost vomit.

I had a 1992 that was clearly bad! It was SOUR - must have gotten wet or something, but have had others that were good. As far as my worst out there Probably a Padilla Obsidian. Ive had 1 or 2 and both were horrible. Funny enough almost every trade for about a year I was getting 1 in there being passed off from someone else.
