I've been looking at doing this to my old Zippo. Can anyone give the +/- to each of these? They are about the same in cost so, which one hold more fuel, better flame, longer lasting...

Thanks!

I was thinking of getting one for my Zippo. I miss that thing a ridiculous amount :crying:. I really like the Thunderbird American Vintage inserts as they maintain the classic flint ignition. The only reason I haven't got one yet is because I picked up some Ronson JetLites. Hope that helps.

I've used the Z-Plus insert in several lighters with no problem. I'm personally not familar with the Thunderbird Insert, in fact I had never heard of it until this post.

I haven't heard of the thunderbird either. It may be great, but I have used the z plus for a few years now and I like it a lot. Some friends of mine have complained that it doesn't hold enough fuel for their liking, but It isn't a problem IMO. Hope that helps.
