  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I just purchased a Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Donatus Germany anitque cigar cutter. It is in great shape!
Does anyone have any idea how old it may be and how much it may be worth?

Thanks!

Does it look anything like this? Pardon the ridiculously tiny picture.

If so, apparently it is worth somewhere between $600-800 in good shape.

EDIT: Also, apparently it's from the 1920's. Definitely a cool piece.

EDIT 2: Found a better pic.

Wow, that is way nicer than I imagined.

IF so, nice snag... may I ask what you paid for it?

Hi!
I found a T&Co. cutter in a box of cutters & corkscrews. It sounds just like yours. It is ribbed horizontally on the sterling covers and Stainless steel on the shaft abd ends with the cutters, (3), on one and the box opener and nail puller on the other.
Did you find out it's value?
How did you find it?
I thought mine was brass until I used metal wadding polish on it and WoW! What a sparkler. ...& I didn't know it was Tiffany until I looked at a picture I took.
What is it's age?
Please advise.
