  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Well well, I was going to go into a rant 2 days ago-about how his ego overtakes good judgement. But obviously I'm in the minority, when it comes to TW.:stretchgr

Was the open that important? He is one hell of a golfer, gotta hand him that but I hope he hasn't damaged himself to the point that it's irrepairable.

Based on how he was grimacing and occasionally hollering in pain at the Open, the extended time off was not unexpected ... but the further injuries sure were. I hope he can rehabilitate fully and come back next year. He might need to change his swing though ...

Now who am i gonna cheer for?!?! Certainly not Phil! even tho he is a fellow lefty. I've always like Mike Weir though. Geoff Ogilvy is coming along.

Or i could jump on wade's Trevor Immelman bandwagon, since he helped him win all those sticks.

His dad preached mental toughness.
I'm not quite sure it's verbatim-but when Tiger was asked what the elder Woods would have said to him regarding his weekend- "he would have told me I was a stubborn ass".

I just don't think he was thinking real clear thursday when it was first evident that something was wrong. That much pain is not a good thing.

Then quoting Tiger when asked, "it's just pain"! Athletes are a different breed no doubt, some are just super human in how they can tolerate pain and heal. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but look at Favre, tough as hell, played through pain. The list in this category is loooong.

Golf is a non contact sport, and you are only paid if you play/win. In TW's matter- money is not an issue. I just think it was a little selfish on his part, to not spend a little more time thinking of his fans and contractual sponsors/endorsements. If, lets just say if-he f'd it up so bad that it will never be the same?????????? Again was this one tournament worth it? Tiger is Tiger, and healthy he could concievably win PGA (no seniors) tournaments till he's 55. But only if he stays healthy.

Ballers get paid hurt or not-DL.

It will be sad, if he jacked it up bad enough that it hampers his quest to break Jacks record.

Hell, even if he comes back 75% he's still ahead of the field. Not saying that playing was a good idea, but just sayin'. I mean as much as we can all speculate, none of us really know how he was feeling prior to kickoff on Thursday, and knowing Tiger there's no way he's gonna bail out of a major once it's started unless he just physically can't do it. Not saying it was a good move to come back so quick, again, just sayin'

Puss!

Erin Hills from the tips is where you should be. A big guy like you; 658 yard par 5 outta be a breeze.
LOL, I wish I could've, but alas I still only had time for 9 today. Shot a 38, 8 pars and two bogeys. Stupid mistakes on the bogeys too, I'm an idiot. Erin Hills will be for a day when I can enjoy it.
