Tim Tebow and the Broncos

I was wondering what the local media is saying about Tebow and how he is doing at camp? I live in Central Wisconsin but am a huge Broncos fan and don't hear the local media reports.

I will be adding another roman numeral to the tattoo on my arm when they win the Superbowl this year!

Brady Quinn is competing for the job. I was just curious what people in the area think about Tebow as he was picked higher than anybody thought he should go. He is being groomed to be the future QB.

I think Denver will be better now that T.O. Junior (Marshall) is gone, imo. Better team chemistry.

BTW, every year around this time I say it's Denver's year, lol.

i don't watch football but, i do watch the news...to answer your question, the news has gone to the training camps the past few days and said teabag looks great...he's also said to be over-hyped and fans think he'll go to the super bowl and realistic coaches will be happy if he does very good his first run with the broncos.

Thanks for the update. I was not a fan of Tebow in college and was disappointed McDaniels picked him. I think McDaniels thinks he is Belichick junior and can mimic what Belichick has done with Brady.

i've not no clue what you just said...but yes, he's sold more jerseys than anyone the broncos has had for a new player, and there's some debate on whether he should have gotten the #15 jersey...he's definitely a fan favorite and i personally hope since i don't watch football that he can live up to all this hype and news...i'd hate to hear disappointed fans griping at the local b&m.

I think Tebow is going to surprise a lot of naysayers and have a productive NFL career as a QB. Think about it....Brady Quinn came in anointed as the next big thing and he has been a bust. Tom Brady was a sixth round? draft pick and now has a bust waiting for him at the Hall of Fame.

Moral of the story? Don't listen to the "experts" since they don't know all that much more than the average Joe

love him or hate him, tebow will fight with all he's got. he may not be the most talented athletically as a qb, but i wouldn't mind having him on a team.

Tebow is a special kind of person. I am a huge Gators fan and had a blast following him the last four years. I guess now I will be paying a lot more attention to the Broncos.

Being a huge University of Kentucky, season ticket holder and SEC fan I've seen Tebow play in person twice and on tv a ton...he just doesn't have the game of a pocket passer and that is required in the NFL. The scrambling QB will never do well great in the NFL. If they would then Michael Vick in his prime would have done a lot more than get destroyed by linebackers and safeties.

Can he change? Maybe.

It will take a lot for him to change his game enough to be even a middle of the road NFL QB. I think they need to just forget that, especially with the pick of Quinn in the off season, and move him to a tight end or maybe even a slot receiver even though he isn't quick enough.

No questioning his competitiveness however.

I am not a Broncos fan however I will be cheering for Tebow. Loved watching him play at Florida and I think he is a very gifted athlete with a huge heart.

I think he will do better than a lot of people think. He has the athleticism and the drive to perform. He is already holding the ball higher and he can throw. Time will tell though. He can't be taking hits form the big boy if he wants to be successful.

Take that money you have saved for the tattoo, and buy some smokes, at least that way you will get some use out of it in the next decade.

Jeeper, I like you but I think the extra wives had messed with your mind.

He was a good (maybe even very) good college athlete, but in the NFL he is at best an average athlete.

He can't throw against NFL corners and safeties (he was average in the SEC), and he is was a great runner for a QB in the NFL, but Mike Vick was a much better athlete and runner, and he was not a great QB in the NFL.

Fact is Lil' Timmy will be a back up for a few years, and maybe get a start or two due to injury.
