Time for an upgrade?

I have been updating my gaming rig for the last year or so. I have replaced my 6 core AMD with an I7 4770k and my crosshair IV with a Maximus VI. I currently have an Nvidia 570 GTX GPU. Is it time to upgrade that bad boy, or wait until another generation comes out and upgrade then?

If it's working well, I would stand pat for now. The 570 was one of the best things going for some time, wouldn't change for changes sake.

I've got an Alienware x51 running a AMD Radeon R9 270X with 2GB GDDR5 with the same chip (i7-4770). Everything is butter smooth. If you were thinking of upgrading, I would add a solid state drive if you haven't already; I've got 256GB SSD SATA 6Gb/s. Instant power up!

For what its worth I went from a 550 to a 650 and noticed minimal improvement... unless youre going 700+ I would wait.

I have a 27" non 4k... but I want that...

As for an SSD, I upgraded to one about a year ago. Best investment period. The only downfall of the 570 is that its only 1GB worth of vram. I struggle to play Ultra settings or heavily modded games. First world problems...
