Anyone had the chance to try the new line from DPG? I got a sampler on order from NHC, but just curious how these are. I invision them to be similar in strength to the vegas cubanas.

Any feedback?

I have had a chance to smoke several of these now. In my opinion, so far the best new stick of the year. I think you will find it to be more mild and less spicy than the norm for Pepin. It is a nice medium bodied, well blended stick. It burns wonderfully, and draws like a smoke stack I thought it was a nice departure from the characteristic "Pepin flavor" that you get in most of his sticks. I am a huge Pepin fan and really enjoyed this one. Enjoy.

The Tabacos Baez beli was my least favorite... i have another size and i'll try it soon, but this cigar reminded me of cigars that i grew tired of almost as soon as i started smoking cigars in the first place... it has a taste that i can't really describe... (The best way for me to explain is.. you know how people talk about Cuban cigars having a "twang"... well these cigar have a "thinge") Its a person taste thing for me, so i won't say it is a bad cigar. It did burn very well!

Also... I guess I shouldn't say it suprised me, but I thought the price was just a wee bit too high.
