Today was very sad

with my ever-meager stash, I sure felt good having 2 beautiful, intact boxes of EL's. they were my first, and your first is always special. now, I have pretty boxes with neat insert/ribbons, etc., with just a few sticks in each box.

Now, I'm going to cry, especially since I traded off 2 of the RyJ's to someone who's thinking about a box. i insisted on a right of first refusal on splitting said potential order,. nontheless, I now have 2 RyJ's and 6 Mag50's.

be sure to post when you've got the smokes, and more importantly, what y'all think of them. I will likely be interested in splitting up some more RyJ's while the getting is good. I freaking love those.

p.s. - my "on foot" mailman will not be happy when he sees a stack of boxes by my door. oh, don't worry,they're outside my door, in the hallway to the house that I split, so they aren't out in the elements.

That's ok Scot, my first just happened but I ordered from Promo so I don't even get the pretty boxes and neat ribbons.

But if you want to split another box of the RyJs I might be interested.

I tried the Mag50.

it's one of the only cigars with enough nicotine power to actually affect me. flavor-wise, IMO, they're not ready yet. they are roguh around the edges. they taste good, but really roguh, in a Mag46 way. they taste good to me, but they're not really showing that EL complexity and flavor bombness.

also. I didn't check the rest, but the Mag I smoked was very loosely rolled. no soft sptos. just evenly soft, like B.J. will be now that he's 35.

Those D's look nice but unless you think you can find lem for less than $15 a stick, they might not be worth it.
