This says it all about the new ET 750ml bottle..

Interesting info on Weller I'd like to try the $15 tasting. Looks like great bourbon and glasses to boot.

Dropped into Binny's (on a Thursday, not usually a big drop day). They had several new ECBP single barrel picks, so I grabbed the lowest age (8 years) but the highest proof (130.6). They also had a couple cases of EHT small batch at $59, so I grabbed one of those too.

I had an unsatisfying pour of Weller 12 while out to dinner (the only Weller I don't really care for). Came home and opened the ECBP. Binny's picks are some of the best barrel picks I buy ( crazy because they're a huge chain, but they actually do the picks and have a great track record). So far this one is just ok for me. Hoping a little time open improves it.

Tom, if you can find the ECBP B525 grab all that you can. This is by far one of the best batches since c923.

I've been tempted by a single barrel Bulleit pick at Binny's for months but didn't want to pull the trigger at $69. Bulleit and Knob Creek are my go-tos at dive bars and such. and my GF likes Bulleit in her old fashioneds. It's 104 proof rather than the standard 92, and most of Binny's picks are excellent.

When I went in yesterday and they had it at 50% off to get rid of the rest, it was a no-brainer.

I have been nursing / hoarding this last bottle but have, at most, 3 pours left. I refuse to pay the exhortation prices out there. Of course it’s been awhile since I saw one in the wild so kind of a moot point.

The secondary pricing is ridiculous for ETL. Unfortunately even the MSRP price has gone from $40 to $80 and a lot of people think that's overpriced.

So the GF wanted to hit a Crap Barn (i.e., Antique Mall) that's 50 miles from the house. There's a liquor store there that does lots of picks etc. They had a little round shelving thing nowhere near the bourbon and I saw ECBP. Couldn't be B525, right? But it was. Looking forward to seeing why you dig it, Jim!

My cousin who retired last month after 30+ years in law enforcement wanted a bottle of ETL, so I traded another harder to find bottle for 1 to gift to him.

Karma is a good thing. The day after I gifted it t him, I walked into my store (Binny's) and they asked, "want a bottle of ETL?". MSRP. If you were closer I'd say come on over and let's hit this one hard.
