A little history of the cigar I copy and pasted from my email blast.

Christian and Jessica Hutson of Twisted Cigars are excited to announce the pending release of Torcido cigars. Torcido is a unique, medium to full bodied cigar created in the Dominican Republic at the Matasa factory.

The process started with just an idea years ago when Christian fell in love with the culture of cigars and the people who create them. Torcido is a testament to the history and abilities of the Torcedores that have been rolling cigars for generations. The Quesada family was instrumental in taking that dream and a description of a cigar that didn’t exist and making it a reality.

“I could tell you what I think this cigar tastes like,” Christian says. “However, I would prefer you smoke it yourself and tell me what you find in it. We worked hard to create a well balanced blend that stood up to the strong foods and drinks we prefer.”

“We wrote a flavor profile first and then tested and tweaked different blends for months,” states Jessica. “After discovering the unique wrapper tobacco, the remainder of the blend was created to work around this amazing wrapper.”

The cigar is a twist on a pig tail. It is a cap, flag, split cap. The foot is shaggy.

[1/3](http://i.imgur.com/wnHSJ.jpg)- On a dry pull, it has almost a sorghum taste on the lips but just a hint. Light up, very full. Has a nice floral note with a leather. Very nice The floral is not over powering, but an under laying note. There is a little bit of a spice but also this is not over powering. h

[2/3]( http://i.imgur.com/OcMed.jpg) Very consistent, straight burn, and good amount of strength. The floral notes have turned into almost a hoppy taste, like an IPA. But with a woody/leathery finish and a hint of spice on the tip of my tongue. Straight straight straight burn. I have yet to have to touch one up and I smoked 3 last night. One of each size.

[3/3](http://i.imgur.com/5rOdg.jpg) Consistent leather is now the predominate flavor. Strength has picked up. Very tasty. Very impressed. I tried not to be biased.

[Final thoughts](http://i.imgur.com/Nfbvy.jpg) I enjoyed this smoke very much it is consistent, burned well, draw was spot on. Do not be surprised if I include these in my trades, so others can give them a try. 9/10 would smoke again, will smoke again.
