The shop is run by a guy named Peter. He can be a bit grumpy at times, but will warm up to you over time. He sells almost exclusively Cubans, but has some NC like Don Tomas, and a few others I would never care to try. If your looking for NC's, go else where.
His prices are a the main draw. Expect to pay about 2 to 2 1/2 times what you would pay in Cuba. I have yet to see anyone come close to selling as cheap as him. He claims its because he does not rip his customers off, and charges 15% above his cost. Other retailers claim he sells cigars that have not been taxed. Who knows, but the price is right.
He does not have a walk in humidor, but 4-5 display cases. He will open them and grab the cigars for you. His cigars usually have a good amount of plume, and lots of boxes in his main humidor sleeping. One thing I dont like is, he saves space by combining boxes, say adding petit edmundos into a half box of reg. edmundos. So if you like to know the age on the cigar, especially after smoking a great one, it will forever be a mystery.
If I'm looking to try a few Cubans, this is the spot I'm going to.
He also has the usual selection of Small humidors, cutter, lighters, etc... and some other random cigar related things like cigar indian statues and stuff. The price on those things dont seem to jump out at me.
