I don't know what the ups shipping times will be like, I assume they won't deliver on thursday, but I'll ask my ups guy on monday. in the mean time, I need to know who is not going to be home (scott, I know you will be gone) so I can hold onto your cigars until monday as I will be in college station for the texas vs. aggy game this coming up friday.

also, have you priced any others? I know Ravi usually wins the price war, but his turnaround time lately has been atrocious. Again though, the savings are nice, and I don't think any of us are going to run out of cigars while waiting for this split.

does he have an ETA on the unicos? I read about your alternative to CoH, and priced them out too, I just saw that they were out of unicos which is why i didn't consider them. never dealt with them personally but I did read your previous posts on them. UPS is good with me.

the unicos from gesto claim to be from '99

Gesto has everything in stock and the best price before getting railed on shipping $816, i have heard good things about them and after a certain box count i believe that shipping is free. I did have my eye on a box of something from there for myself which would take the box count up to 5 don't know if that is considered in poor taste but if it would negotiate free shipping for the good of everyone involved in the GB then I thought i would offer it as a suggestion and nothing more.

don't know if anyone has had personal experience with them because I have not, but I have spoken to a FOG who has used them successfully and has spoken highly of them.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone here who would have a problem with you piggybacking a box for yourself if it got us free shipping.

the only knock on gesto is that, if I remember correctly, they don't ship intact. isn't that where the dos rios come from?

edit: I don't have a problem with rebanded. just that some may prefer intact or the bands so they are easier to identify.

I'm the one who told Brandon about Gestos. If you get the order up to 6 boxes the shipping is reasonable but still not free. The TPC/minuto buy last summer came from Gestos.

FWIW, spend the extra $ for the cabinet version of the BBF. In my experience, they're worth it.
