So Jordan Leopolds daughter sent a letter to minnosota wild telling them they need to trade for her father so he can be closer to home and play for the home team... the best part about all of it was there was already a trade in the works for him to get to the wild before she sent it that no one knew about Then they announce it right after she sent the letter. CLASSIC!

I saw this yesterday. Thats a great story. I just recently got into hockey because the NHL isn't full of overpaid thugs like the NFL. I'm glad to be a hockey fan. Classy move Minnesota!

Things like this are too few and far between in professional sports. I totally understand that these guys get paid great money, but there are so many other struggles these guys deal with that the fans never get to see. This was such a classy move by two organizations.

Leopold is quite the journeyman and has played with about 1/3 of the teams in the league. Even the Pens. Every team he has played for he does a lot with the local comminity which equates to being a fan favorite. That speaks volumes.
